Gracie Abrams has reminded her fans just how much she loves her boyfriend Paul Mescal

The 26-year-old singer went Instagram official with the 29-year-old actor in June 2025, and on Friday (16.01.26), she treated her followers on the social media platform to a glimpse into their relationship as she paid tribute to him and his role as William Shakespeare in Hamnet.

Gracie wrote "also I love him surprise" over a shot of Paul smoking a cigarette as he opened his denim jacket to display his "Will Power" t-shirt that had Shakespeare's face on it, which she posted to her Instagram Stories.

Before Gracie dec lared her love for Paul, she shared why people should watch Hamnet - which is directed by Chloe Zhao, 43, and tells the story of the playwright's marriage to Agnes Hathaway (Jessie Buckley) and how the loss of their son Hamnet inspired Hamlet.

Gracie penned over a photo of the pair smiling: "I've found it nearly impossible to find the words to describe the weight of this film and the way it has remained in my bones since I saw it for the first time.

"But we are sat in the kitchen right now and I am looking back on these pictures and got immediately teary, so I'm just going to say that Chloe is singular. Jessie is singular. Paul is singular.

"Thank god for what they made. Go see it and you will be better off. (sic)"

Elsewhere, Paul said Hamnet - which won Best Film - Drama, at the Golden Globe Awards on January 11 - taught him that he cannot be his best self without his loved ones.

He told E! News: "If the film's taught me anything, and it's taught me many things, it's that you can't be a great version of yourself without the immense support from the people around you.

"As a society, we've become individualised and need to carve out our own path. And actually, it's a hell of a lot more enjoyable and more exciting to do that in contact with people with a real desire to love and be loved."

And Paul - who was first romantically linked with Gracie in June 2024 - said Hamnet's ending shows the impact of grief.

He told Variety: "I didn't think about navigating it from, like, love to grief. I think I looked at it as analysing somebody's life.

"I was excited by the fact that I would get to show a lot of colours in terms of that, and the more that we could really make an audience feel these two people were madly in love with each other, the more that we would feel the loss of their connection in the middle act and the final act a little bit."
