Aimee Lou Wood has joined Dinh Van as its first brand ambassador

The White Lotus and Sex Education star has teamed up with the jewellery brand - which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year - in a new campaign led by photographer Julien Vallon and filmmaker Eva Vik.

Astrid de Montlivault, Dinh Van's managing director, told WWD: "We found Amy deeply moving in her way of being genuine and never over the top.

"She's also incredibly talented and above all a woman who is free and naturally embodies a generation that proudly asserts its authenticity and individuality."

Astrid praised Amiee's "magnetic presence and rare sincerity that captivates without artifice", describing it as a good fit for the brand's jewels, which are "very pure in design and catch the eye in the same unadorned way".

The brand is also delighted to have landed a British star as its first ambassador, as it looks to expand internationally.

Astrid said: "Having a [British] ambassador and someone who resonates internationally, and particularly on the US market, is about supporting the rather exponential growth we've had on this territory."

The brand has over 40 points of sale across the US, which is its third largest market after France and Belgium.

Business is concentrated in Miami, Los Angeles, Texas and New York, along with retailers.

Dinh Van doesn't have the flagship site which was opened by its late founder on Madison Avenue in 1977, but there is room for developments in the future.

Astrid added: "If we continue to have this growth, it's a project we are absolutely keeping in mind.

"For now, what's important for us is to have this first campaign with our ambassador and see how the market reacts to this spotlight, particularly our [US and UK] clientele."
