    Firefighters are urging the public to take more care when driving around accident scenes, amid a rise in staff being put in unsafe positions


    Fire and Emergency says it's a problem across the country, but particularly in Otago and Southland.

    Otago Group Manager Bobby Lamont says recent incidents include a car speeding through a traffic incident near Clyde, showing no regard for the safety of emergency service personnel at the scene.
