    A teenage boy has been killed in a skateboarding accident in north Queensland


    He died after hitting a bollard while skating down a hill in Townsville yesterday afternoon.

    He was wearing a helmet and is thought to have been trying to slow down before crashing.

    The 16-year-old Malaysian national had been holidaying with family.
