A reminder to book in your car's Warrant of Fitness check

WoF's that expired on or after January first this year -- were temporarily extended due to the covid 19 pandemic.

Motorists have until October 10 to get them renewed.

Approximately 620 thousand inspections are yet to be completed.

AA Motoring Services General Manager Jonathan Sergel says people shouldn't wait around.

He says if your tyres were borderline going into the Chirstmas Holidays last year, and they haven't been checked since -- there's the potential for there to be some unsafe cars out on the roads.
