    A patched Head Hunter's been arrested and a vehicle impounded after a fleeing driver incident in Auckland's Newmarket


    A vehicle failed to stop when signalled and took off at speed on the Southern Motorway around 10.30 last night.

    It was tracked to Couldry Street in Eden Terrace, where the driver and passenger got out and tried to hide on a property - before being caught.

    A 26-year-old man will appear in court today charged with possession of an offensive weapon and failing to answer district court bail.
