    The German Track Cycling Championships has been abandoned on its final day after two cyclists crashed into the crowd - injuring several spectators


    The pair of riders flew over the barriers at around 56 kilometres per hour as they came around the final bend in the men's keirin semifinals.

    While the two cyclists suffered only minor injuries - seven spectators were hurt, with two needing to be airlifted to hospital.

    Two helicopters and six ambulances attended the incident.
