    Three people have been arrested after a chase following a burglary in Drury this afternoon


    Police were alerted to a burglary at a commercial premises on Great South Road just after 5pm.

    Three alleged offenders made off in a vehicle waiting nearby.

    The Police Eagle Helicopter tracked the getaway vehicle, which was involved in 2 collisions in Drury in Papakura.

    At speeds allegedly more than one and half times the limit, the vehicle headed along Auckland's Northern Motorway, eventually stopping near Puhoi Road.

    Police are considering charges against 3 people.
