    A chance to test his pedaling prowess against some of New Zealand's best riders has been seized Hayden Wilde


    The two-time Olympic triathlon medallist will race in the cycling nationals at Te Awamutu, starting with the time trial today and road race on Saturday.

    Wilde says he's saddled up with some of his competition before at his base in Andorra.



    Wilde competed in the 2020 edition of the road race, but this is first crack at the time trial.
