Gisborne's been hit by another sewer fatberg

Gisborne's been hit by another sewer fatberg

The main drain outside Heath Johnston Park - is almost completely blocked with fat and rags.

Gisborne District Council's David Wilson says it's so full they can't even fit a camera down.

Traffic will be slowed near Wilson Road and Sponge Bay as they to remove the blockage, which Wilson says could extend as far as 250 metres.

He says it's a reminder to be aware of what we're flushing.
