Anothr busy day for shopping malls shopping malls as we flocked to the storess for last-minute Christmas shopping

AMP Capital's shopping centre asset manager Emma Smith says their malls - Bayfair in Tauranga, Centre City in New Plymouth, The Palms and Merivale in Christchurch and Botany Town Centre in Auckland - were at capacity today.

It follows a bumper day of sales and visitors yesterday.

Department and electronic stores were trading very well today, along with the supermarkets as people finished gift shopping and moved to stock up on festive food.
