Tauranga City Council's extended its Transition to Recovery period from January's storm and fatal landslides - until April 1

Tauranga City Council's extended its Transition to Recovery period from January's storm and fatal landslides - until April 1

It says geotechnical and quantitative risk to life assessments are ongoing - with four buildings still red placarded, and 15 under yellow placards.

The Council's consulting the Mauao Trust on how to reopen Mount Maunganui - and will release a plan outlining Tauranga's path forward, in the next week.
