A cheery outlook from canoe slalomist Luuka Jones regarding the coronavirus' chances of disrupting the Tokyo Olympics

The 31-year-old has been selected to compete for New Zealand at a fourth Games.

She expects to spend up to nine weeks in the Japanese capital preparing for the K1 and C1 disciplines.

Jones remains unperturbed by the World Health Organisation's declaration of a pandemic this morning.

Callum Gilbert has been picked to debut in the men's K1.
