Single sculler Tom Mackintosh has tasted World Cup victory in the boat for the first time, six weeks from the Olympics

Single sculler Tom Mackintosh has tasted World Cup victory in the boat for the first time, six weeks from the Olympics

He's cashed in on the absence of world champion Oliver Zeidler and runner-up Simon van Dorp, to take home gold at Poland.

Mackintosh's triumph was New Zealand's fourth gold at the regatta, alongside the men's and women's four and the women's lightweight double sculls.
