    Praise for the Kiwis' young backline in last night's victory over Mate Ma'a Tonga

    Fullback Joseph Manu was the standout player in the team's 26-6 victory, running almost 400 metres.

    Wingers Jordan Rapana and Ronaldo Mulitalo scored two tries each, with Rapana converting all of the team's four tries and scoring a penalty.

    Kiwis coach Michael Maguire says Manu was strong, but the backline worked well as a unit.
