    Two coaches have already been sent packing since the end of American football's regular season

    New York Giants coach Pat Shurmur and Cleveland Browns' mentor Freddie Kitchens have been axed after poor NFL seasons.

    Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett is among the coaches reported to be in danger, after registering an 8 and 8 campaign.

    NFL.com reports a long day of meetings at Cowboys HQ, but no firm decision has been made on Garrett's future or that of his coaching staff.

    The NFL playoffs start on Sunday.
