Doctors and physios have been left baffled by New Zealand Breakers captain Tom Abercrombie's latest injury

The veteran forward's been sidelined for roughly six weeks after sustaining a side strain, in their preseason victory over the Sydney Kings on Thursday.

Abercrombie admits they're in the dark as to the true nature of the injury.

Abercrombie's set to miss the Breakers' Australian NBL season opener on December 4th.
