The Auckland Tuatara could be set for an unexpected return home as Australia's bushfires threaten their four-game away series against the Sydney Blue Sox

The Australian baseball league sides are awaiting word on whether their matches at Sydney's Blacktown International Sports Park, starting on Thursday, will go ahead as scheduled or be moved to Auckland's North Harbour Stadium.

Tuatara first baseman Andrew Marck says it could work in their favour.
