    Captain Pat Cummins has left the door open for Scott Boland to return to the Australian cricket team despite being overlooked for the Boxing Day test against Pakistan in Melbourne


    Australia's named an unchanged lineup from the opener.

    Boland has starred at the MCG in the last two years, including taking six-for-seven against England in 2021.

    Instead, Cummins will lead a three-strong pace attack alongside Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood.
