    A slightly more selfless approach to cricket has played its part in Black Cap Glenn Phillips earning his first national contract


    Phillips is one of two newbies on the list of 20 players alongside Daryl Mitchell, following on from an impressive summer, particularly in the Twenty20 format.

    The 24-year-old says when he was in the Caribbean for their T20 league recently, he learnt to focus less on himself.
