The Herald reports more Black Caps are considering taking up casual playing agreements with New Zealand Cricket in the next contracting cycle.
The uncertainty over the shape of the domestic T20 game drags on with a local franchise competition a possibility, while teams in the Big Bash could also be considered.
Northern Districts CEO Ken Rutherford says he's not sure anything would stop a top T20 player like Finn Allen doing whatever he wants.
