Australian batsman Mitch Owen is psyched to have a crack at some new faces during this week's Chappell-Hadlee Trophy T20 cricket internationals against the Black Caps

Australian batsman Mitch Owen is psyched to have a crack at some new faces during this week's Chappell-Hadlee Trophy T20 cricket internationals against the Black Caps

The 24-year-old made his debut in gold in July after scoring two centuries for the Hobart Hurricanes in Australia's T20 Big Bash league - including 108 in the final, reaching the milestone in a record 39 deliveries.

Owen says he's familiar with some of the New Zealand players.

The first of three T20's is at Bay Oval on Wednesday.
