    White Ferns captain Sophie Devine believes her team prepared for the World Cup's sub-continent conditions as best as they could, despite a disappointing end to her one-day career


    New Zealand bows out of the event in India and Sri Lanka in sixth place out of eight teams, following an eight-wicket shellacking by England.

    Despite there being no fairytale finish to her 19-year ODI career, Devine is proud of the playing group.
