The New Zealand men's and women's hockey sides are playing in a domestic north versus south tournament in Hamilton, starting next Thursday.
Next month they're hosting Australia in a Trans-Tasman series, playing four double headers.
On top of that, both teams are returning to the International Hockey Federation Pro-League at the end of the year.
Men's coach Greg Nicol is thrilled they're playing regular internationals again.
2022 gets even busier - with the Black Sticks women competing in the World Cup in early July, as well as both teams competing at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games at the end of July.
