    Greg Nicol's got the New Zealand men's hockey team fit and fast ahead of the Commonwealth Games, which get underway later this month


    Birmingham will be Nicol's first major competition in charge after being appointed head coach at the start of the year.

    Midfielder Harry Miskimmin says Nicol has high expectations of the group, which has lifted the quality of play.
