    The Florida Panthers are through to the Eastern Conference finals in ice hockey's NHL


    The defending champions have thumped the Maple Leafs 6-1 in the seventh and deciding game of their semi-final series in Toronto.

    Florida will face the Carolina Hurricanes for a berth in the Stanley Cup finals.
