    New Zealand's most decorated rower has called time on his career


    Hamish Bond is retiring from the sport - his career on the water includes three Olympic gold medals and eight golds at the World Championships.



    Cricket Wellington's expressing its disappointment at the capital being stripped of its three Black Caps fixtures this summer.

    Wellington will no longer host a South African test or two Twenty20s against Australia, as New Zealand Cricket centralises series' to prevent the spread of Covid.

    It's the first summer in 26 years the Basin Reserve won't host a test.

    Hagley Oval will now host both matches against South Africa, while Napier will host the entire Australian T20 series.



    A three-time defending motocross world champion, but contract talks are one hill Courtney Duncan's having trouble clearing.

    Duncan is off contract from her Kawasaki Dixon Racing Team, and reveals a contract renewal - which she hoped to have sorted in the new year - is yet to be finalised.
