    Queenstown is the leading option should the six New Zealand-based Super Rugby franchises form a playing hub for the season's kick-off in mid-February


    There are reports that New Zealand Rugby, the Players' Association and the six teams are in discussions over forming a bubble, in order to reduce the risk of postponing or cancelling matches amid New Zealand's omicron outbreak.
