    Wallabies coach Dave Rennie was blindsided by the suggestion from his boss that they could abandon Super Rugby Pacific after next season


    Rugby Australia chairman Hamish McLennan dropped a bombshell last week by telling his Kiwi counterparts they were consider going it alone from 2024... hinting at an all-Aussie competition.

    New Zealand Rugby is believed to collect almost $100 million dollars from the current broadcast deal - roughly three times what RA receives.

    Rennie, who's preparing the Wallabies on the Sunshine Coast to host England in three tests, feels it's all about commercial positioning.
