    Silver Ferns captain Laura Langman is tickled pink her coach and long time mentor Noeline Taurua has been made a Dame


    Taurua has been knighted in the New Year honours, while Langman has been made an officer of the New Zealand order of merit.

    Langman says the recognition for Taurua is deserved and they share some special memories.
