    An Australian defender is making her way to the Northern Stars for next year's ANZ Premiership


    Remi Kamo has spent the last two seasons in the Super Netball competition with the Queensland Firebirds.

    The 21-year-old's already got a taste of what her new team has to offer in March - coming up against them when the Stars played the Firebirds in the annual pre-season tournament in Otaki.

    Earlier this week - the Stars announced former Silver Ferns midcourter Temepara Bailey as their new head coach.
