    An end-of-an-era for the Supercars Championship


    Jamie Whincup, who turns 38 this week, will retire from full-time driving at season's end.

    The seven-time champion has claimed all 122 of his race victories for the Triple Eight Racing team.

    He'll move into team management with incumbent Roland Dane stepping down.
