Liam Lawson's clocked the second fastest time in Formula One's young driver testing at Abu Dhabi

Liam Lawson's clocked the second fastest time in Formula One's young driver testing at Abu Dhabi

Two days after a pulsating conclusion to the season on the same track, the 19-year-old's spent his first time behind the wheel of an F1 car for Scuderia Alpha Tauri.

Their chief racing engineer Jonathan Eddolls says Lawson adapted quickly to handling the speed and has a future in the sport.

Lawson, who is part of Red Bull's driver academy, will drive in Formula Two again next year at this stage.
