Snow Sports New Zealand have increased their funding and support for ace Kiwi skier Alice Robinson as she embarks on a challenging eight months in Europe

The 18 year old has linked up with her coach Chris Knight in Italy for training on glaciers ahead of October's world cup giant slalom opener in Austria.

Knight has previously bemoaned a lack of support in New Zealand for Robinson, but says her victories at two-world cup events has changed that.
