    New Zealand skier Alice Robinson has claimed a third-place finish at the Giant Slalom World Cup event in Slovakia


    On an exceptionally firm course Robinson scorched to third place after the first run...and held on to that placing despite a few mistakes on her second run.

    It was the seventh World Cup podium of Robinson's career and her second podium on the current tour.

    Robinson is back in action next weekend at the Super G World Cup in Cortina, Italy.
