Auckland FC coach Steve Corica has revealed the crucial role New Zealand players have had in setting the foundations of the rookie club

The Black Knights have become only the second first-year side to win the A-League Premiers Plate as regular-season champions.

Corica says a key pillar of their success has been the welcoming nature of the Kiwis to their overseas team mates.
