Warriors coach Andrew Webster believes he had to reduced Leka Halasima's playing minutes in the NRL

The 19-year-old will come off the interchange against the Eels on Friday, as he did against the Titans.

The second rower hasn't played more than 48 minutes in the last three outings after playing 80 minutes three of the previous four games.

Webster says Halasima needs to be brought along at the right speed and time.
