    Breakers coach Petteri Koponen's demanding more effort from his players as their playoff hopes in basketball's NBL further diminish


    They've slumped to a third straight loss - suffering a 14-point defeat to a Brisbane side who were on a seven-game losing streak.

    Koponen says a key component was distinctly lacking.



    The Breakers sit down in seventh - now with 13 losses from 20 games this season.
