An education expert says so called hybrid learning isn't that radical

An education expert says so called hybrid learning isn't that radical

Christchurch's Hagley College will allow a small group of students to learn from home for two days a week.

It's part of efforts to better support students who struggle with attendance because of mental and physical problems or extracurricular activities.

Education Specialist Derek Wenmoth helped design the trial.

He says it's not really a new concept.

Wenmoth says programmes like this have been in place for awhile in a number of countries including the UK.
