Vandals are to blame for more than 80-thousand dollars worth of damage to Kapiti's public toilets

The Kapiti Coast District Council says it's has problem, with repeat incidents of vandalism across Otaki costing ratepayers thousands.

The council says the behaviour has escalated in the past year and it's running out of money to fix smashed toilet bowls and basins, remove graffiti, and clean up mess.
