Lindsay Lohan is going through a "learning process" as she attempts to balance work in Hollywood with raising her young son

The actress became a first-time mom in 2023 when she gave birth to Luai, two, with her husband Bader Shammas and she has since got back to work filming a cameo in the Mean Girls reboot, appearing in several Netflix movies and starring in Freaky Friday sequel Freakier Friday - and Lindsay admits she still figuring out how to juggle work with parenting duties

She told the BBC: "When you become a mum, your whole life changes and it's important to be able to balance work and being a mum which is definitely a learning process."

Freakier Friday reunites the actress with her former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, who insisted she still sees herself as a a mother figure to Lindsay and was thrilled to meet her young son.

Jamie told the outlet: "I take my job seriously and when I'm the mother or elder to a young actor I take great responsibility to make sure they can always count on my friendship and love.

"We've been united all the away from her teens to her twenties and just recently she brought her baby to meet me in LA."

Lindsay and her family now live in Dubai and she recently insisted she's able to live a much more "normal" life in the glitzy city.

During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Lindsay explained: "It's just far away from Hollywood, and I live a very normal life.

"There's no worry of like, I can't go eat at this place 'cause someone's gonna take a picture of my son. And it's just ... I feel very safe ...

"You can't take a picture of someone else if you're in a restaurant. You have to ask the person, which is a big difference from here."

Lindsay also recently admitted she's come along way since her troubled years after shooting to fame as a child star and she now feels more "settled" and "positive".

She told CNN: "I'm at ease in my life because I've lived, I feel like, such a long life at such a young age. I feel wiser now and very settled. I've become such a positive person."
