    The French Prime Minister will present his resignation to the country's president today


    François Bayrou has received a vote of no confidence after criticism of his budget reform.

    Newstalk ZB's Paris correspondent Catherine Field says Bayrou seemed to antagonise everyone he spoke to.

    She says he didn't negotiate or try seek coalitions - instead only talking among his own right wing block.
