Kiwis are still leaving New Zealand in record numbers

Stats NZ data shows annual net migration is continuing to fall -- to just under 11-thousand in the year to August.

That's down from more than 51-thousand the previous year.

Nearly 74-thousand New Zealand citizens have left -- the most on record.

Factoring in returned Kiwis - the net migration loss of Kiwis has reached another record high of almost 48-thousand.
