Large southerly swells have forced the cancellation of four sailings on the Interislander's Aratere, today and tomorrow.

All impacted passengers are being moved to other sailings.

Five sailings are also cancelled on the privately-operated Bluebridge - which says weather conditions are likely to remain unsettled until Monday night.

Bluebridge warns further cancellations are likely today and tomorrow.
