    Live updates: Ceasefire back on track as Israel says it's reached deal with Hamas

    Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a deal has been made with Hamas to implement a ceasefire. Follow live.


    The Israeli prime minister's office said a deal to release the hostages held in Gaza has been reached after a delayed vote in the country's cabinet. 

    The families of those held captive have been told and preparations made for their return, Benjamin Netanyahu's team said.
