The Acting Prime Minister says Chinese ships passing so close to our shores shows the world's changed

The Acting Prime Minister says Chinese ships passing so close to our shores shows the world's changed

The Defence Force is monitoring the three warships now within Australia's exclusive economic zone, south of Tasmania.

Act Leader David Seymour says it's not a reason to panic, but we're not used to having powerful Chinese ships so close to us and our allies.

He says that's why it's important to investment more in defence.

David Seymour confirms the Defence Minister is looking into our communications between Australia's and New Zealand's Defence Force.
