A person who recently returned from Asia has been identified as having measles

A person who recently returned from Asia has been identified as having measles

The National Public Health Service is supporting the patient and their Auckland household.

The patient was not infectious while flying home.

Locations the person visited while infectious include Woolworths Kelston last Saturday and Fullers360 ferries last Monday.

You are considered immune to measles if you have proof of two doses of the MMR vaccine.

People born before 1969 or have evidence of having measles previously are also considered immune.
