Belief victims are better off thanks to reductions to the backlog in the Auckland District Court

Belief victims are better off thanks to reductions to the backlog in the Auckland District Court

The latest Government figures show a 26-percent reduction for criminal cases over the past year, with an 11-percent reduction nationally.

Minister Nicole McKee says new legislation and judicial KPIs are delivering.

She says victims are getting through cases more quickly and easily, and the Government's supporting those entering the justice system.
