Former Rugby Australia chief executive Hamish McLennan has detailed what New Zealand Rugby might be looking for in their new CEO

Former Rugby Australia chief executive Hamish McLennan has detailed what New Zealand Rugby might be looking for in their new CEO

The hunt is on to replace Mark Robinson, who departs at the end of 2025.

McLennan served three years as the boss of the game in Australia, observing NZR from afar.

He says rugby must be in the DNA of the successful applicant.

McLennan has floated New Zealand Rugby Players Association boss Rob Nichol as a possible contender.
