A tug of war between wet and dry weather is expected, during June

A tug of war between wet and dry weather is expected, during June

High pressure will move over the country from Australia, but WeatherWatch expects it will still be wet in the west and north of New Zealand.

Head forecaster Philip Duncan says eastern parts of the country are likely to become the new dry zones.

He says a lot of dry weather is still occurring but there'll be more gaps between the highs in the coming days, making a greater chance for showers.
